1956
The origins
Magnoni was set up in 1956 in Modena, in the heart of the Packaging Valley, as supplier of conveyor belts for companies mainly active in the food sector. The ability to provide high performance products and to support customers with its expertise, trustworthiness and innovative ideas, awarded the company with many important contracts that caused it to grow quickly. In few years, Magnoni transformed and expanded its core business: not just production of individual parts of handling systems, but also designing and constructing complete systems.

Ever more leaders
In the 1980s, the company started counting important companies in its customer base operating in the beverage, oil, food, canning and pet-food sectors and grew rapidly as a result of the new market acquired: it expanded its production facilities and introduced the most advanced technologies to address ever more promptly and thoroughly the needs of a demanding and numerous clientele.

The new millennium
At the dawn of the new millennium, Magnoni further modified its business structures: process and product innovations and radical transformation of the business model, increasingly focused on providing comprehensive handling solutions.

Today
The future in the LM Group
In December 2019, Magnoni joined LM SpA, another historical Modena-based company, leader in complex, high-performance handling systems. Thanks to the contribution of the LM structure, and specifically the department for in-house production of all the main conveyor belt components, and the department of automation and construction of control panels, the company gained further flexibility and effectiveness, resulting in an immediate, significant boost to its growth in its target markets.
